The B&W international bike box, ideal for transporting your pride and joy safely through baggage handling. I’d feel more confident with a strong purpose built trapezoid box full of padding, than a bike bag.
The bike box fits comfortably into a small hatchback car, with the seats down, and will accommodate frames up to 62cm. Two padded wheel bags are included as well. It’s a well designed bike box that comes with cushioning for the sprocket, loads of padding and an anti-compression disk.
It’s also light enough to get your bike through Ryan Air without paying extra.
“Fits easily into most saloon or hatchback cars.”

“I used to travel with one of those flexible “soft” bike bag, until wheels suffered some damage in the last trip. I decided to invest in a rigid bike box and this is very likely the best quality/value bike box you can get, without breaking the bank.”

“Overall design and manufacturing quality is superb, with rollers at each corner, two handles and four integrated locks. It’s also nice to see that an external strap has been added from the original design to provide a bike case that really does give you the confidence to travel without the worry of damaging your bike.”

An added bonus of the B&W bike cases is that the wheels and many of the parts can be replaced if needed. They can just be un-screwed and replaced, a lot of other cases are fully moulded, and if the wheels are damaged in transit, the case needs replacing.

The bike box suits all frame sizes, although beyond 24″ you’ll probably need to remove the seat post. Not suitable for full suspension bikes – use the B&W Bike Case Bike Safe instead.
